1. About FleetLinkr

FleetLinkr (“we,” “us,” or “the Platform”) is an online listing service that connects vehicle owners (including TLC dealerships and private owners) with individuals seeking to rent vehicles in and around New York City.

We are not a party to any rental agreement. We do not own, inspect, insure, or take possession of any vehicle. We do not process payments between users. Any rental is a direct agreement between the owner and the renter.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FleetLinkr. If you list or rent a TLC-eligible vehicle, you are responsible for holding a valid TLC driver’s license and meeting all NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

By using FleetLinkr, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your listings and profile.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including TLC regulations, insurance requirements, and tax obligations.
• Maintain valid registration, insurance, and inspection for any vehicle you list.
• Not use FleetLinkr for fraud, discrimination, or any illegal purpose.
• Communicate honestly and honor agreements you make with other users.

4. Listings and Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, etc.). By posting, you grant FleetLinkr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content on the Platform.

We reserve the right to remove any listing or content that violates these terms, is misleading, or that we believe harms users or the Platform.

5. No Payments or Escrow

FleetLinkr does not process rental payments. Any money exchanged between users — including deposits, rental fees, and any damages — is handled directly between the parties. We are not responsible for any payment dispute.

6. Disclaimers

FleetLinkr is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

On TLC verification: When a vehicle listing is marked “Plate matched to NYC TLC record,” we have checked the submitted plate against the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission’s public “For-Hire Vehicles (FHV) — Active” dataset at the time of listing. This confirms the plate existed in that public dataset on that date. It does not confirm ownership, insurance, inspection status, roadworthiness, or that the listing user is authorized to rent the vehicle. NYC’s dataset is updated daily, and records may change.

We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any user, listing, or vehicle beyond the specific plate check described above. You use FleetLinkr at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FleetLinkr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of FleetLinkr after changes means you accept the updated terms.
